Warning: DO NOT READ THE FOLLOWING UNLESS YOU WANT MAJOR SPOILERS.
Dark Horizons reports that the new movie - titled DIE HARD 4.0 - will comprise of the following plot:
"Aint it Cool managed a first look at the script and describe the plot as terrorists intending to systematically demolish or seize our technological infrastructure via a three-day plan. These guys will gradually step up malfunctions starting with traffic control systems, working towards economic markets, and finally shutting down key utilities like power and water to send the US essentially into a modern Dark Ages.Like the previous Die Hard's though, an apparent terrorist plot is a smoke screen for the oldest motive in the book - greed. McClane's connection? His just released son, a cyber-thief imprisoned for stealing high security information, who's buddies are the ones behind the plot. Things go badly in their attempt to help the Government and the pair end up on the run".

Whats the truth behind working on a second part for the "last samurai"??

THE LAST SAMURAI was a Tom Cruise joke, brother.
Everyone gets massacred at the climax including the most experienced Samurai chiefs *except* Tom Cruise's character who survives and gets give to give an anti-colonial lecture to the Japanese Emperor.
Gimme a #$%^&* break.

Dude, you'll see a sequel to ISHTAR before you'll see a sequel to LAST SAMURAI - no such film is being made.
