2nd District Candidate Marzouq Al-Ghanim Video

| | Comments (3)

I've known 2nd District candidate and former Parliamentarian Marzouq Al-Ghanim for over 20 years now so whatever I say about him is bound to be biased.

I will, however, share this snippet of information with you...When the 1990 Iraqi invasion of Kuwait occurred, thousands of people scurried to the border in order to escape. Al-Ghanim - outside Kuwait at the time, alongside his family - did the exact opposite: he infiltrated into Kuwait (at grave danger to himself) where he spent the remainder of the seven month occupation.

If that doesn't speak volumes about someone's character, I don't know what will.

My mom did the same also. We entered Kuwait in November 1990, I was 6 my brother was 4. My dad was in Kuwait my mom brother and I were in Cairo.
We flew to jordan then got someone to drive us into kuwait. We drove thru iraq, when we reached the q80 border they wouldn't let us in unless we had Kuwait-Iraq license plates. Allah kan i7ebna and it was our luck these 2 q8 men were at the border, and they took us with them in the car.
ALthough I was only 6 and ppl think I don't remember, I remember so much about that time.

my vote goes to marzouq. enough said.
